How is Deroopy different from other "smart" collars?
The Deroopy GPS tracking collar adds an HD camera to provide the most secure, state-of-the-art virtual fence for your dog. But Deroopy goes beyond other electronic collars. Deroopy keeps your dog safely within the boundaries you easily set and prevents him from leaving (while other tracking collars only track and notify you if he escapes). It also tracks the amount of activity and movement the fence provides. Your Deroopy collar can prevent, protect, track, train, and even guide your dog back home.
Does the Deroopy pet collar prevent pets from leaving the fence?
Yes. The Deroopy GPS Tracking Collar has a built-in conductive probe that warns your pet of an Static Stimulation if it is about to leave the virtual fence. The 1-16 level adjustment function can also be used to communicate with surveillance cameras in real time to prevent your pet from leaving or even guide your dog back home.

How often should l recharge my Deroopy Collar and what is the expected battery life of the collar?
Our collar offers flexible battery performance to suit different usage scenarios:
Standby Mode: Up to 2–7 days of battery life (depending on your pet’s behavior and real-time adjustments).
Training Mode: Up to 10 hours of continuous use with all features enabled.
Quick Charge: 1-hour charging provides over 2 days of typical usage.
We recommend removing the collar at night and charging it while your pet rests, so it’s fully powered for the next day.
Does Deroopy work with iPhone and Android?

Does the collar support GPS fencing and real-time alerts?
Yes. The collar features a smart GPS virtual fence system that allows you to set custom safe zones for your pet. When your dog approaches the boundary, a pre-recorded voice warning is triggered to guide them back.
If the boundary is breached, the system will automatically send real-time alerts, including photos and videos, directly to your mobile device — so you can monitor your dog’s location and safety anytime, anywhere.
What are Deroopy Fences and how do I create them?
Deroopy Fences are GPS virtual boundaries that you can easily create and customize using the mobile app. Simply open the app, select a location on the map, and draw your desired safe zone. The virtual fence will be saved to the app and stay active unless you choose to modify or delete it. No physical installation is needed, and the fences can’t be cut, damaged, or tampered with.
Can I see what my pet sees in real time?
Yes, the collar supports first-person live streaming via the app, allowing you to monitor your pet’s view anytime.
Does the collar track my pet’s activity and health data?
Yes. The collar monitors your pet’s movement and activity levels in real time. You can check daily activity stats, movement history, and other health-related data directly in the mobile app to better understand your pet’s physical condition and routine.
Does the Deroopy collar provide any corrective feedback? When is it used?
Yes, the Deroopy collar features a gentle static feedback option designed to mimic a light tap on the shoulder. This feedback helps interrupt your dog’s fixation in high-distraction or potentially unsafe environments, gently guiding them back to desired behavior.
You’re never required to use static correction—it’s completely optional and fully customizable based on your dog’s sensitivity. With multiple levels of adjustable feedback, you can choose the mildest setting that ensures both comfort and effective training.
